The Water Gypsies are a UK Gypsy Jazz band based on the Kennet and Avon Canal. They live aboard traditional narrowboats.
Born out of a chance meeting at a gypsy jazz jam in Bradford on Avon the band played the music of Django Reinhardt in their own exuberant style. Their combined talents were formidable, all having been involved in professional music for many years.
